Privacy Policy
Below, we would like to inform you about how we process your personal data and what rights you have with regard to this data.
Personal Data Processed
On our website, we process personal data that you provide to us via contact forms or the appointment scheduling tool. This data may include the following information:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Company name
Any additional information you voluntarily provide in the designated free-text field
Purpose of Data Processing
Your personal data is processed for arranging and conducting appointments (e.g. consultation meetings) and — subject to your consent — for analyzing user behavior on our website. We use this information to carry out appointments arranged with you, to improve our website, and to offer you relevant content and services.
Server Log Files
When you access our website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in what are known as server log files. This includes in particular the IP address, the date and time of access, the browser type used, and the operating system. This data is used solely to ensure trouble-free operation, the security of our systems, and the prevention of attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functional web presence. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes.
Third Parties and Data Transfers
We transfer data from the contact form to the third-party provider Formspark.io for further processing. This processing is carried out to handle your inquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest or for the initiation of a contract. Please note that Formspark.io has its own privacy policy, which you can view on their website.
Use of Cookies and Tracking Tools
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some of these are technically necessary, while others serve analytics and marketing purposes and are only set after you have given your consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw or adjust your consent at any time with effect for the future.
Google Analytics
To analyze user behavior, we use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies (including _ga) that enable an analysis of how our website is used. The information generated is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server; this may involve a transfer to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland). This allows us to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and conduct reach analyses. In doing so, cookies (including bcookie, lidc, li_gc) are set and data is transmitted to LinkedIn; this may involve a transfer to the USA. LinkedIn is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent.
Embedded Content (Vimeo, Storylane, HubSpot)
On certain pages, we embed external content: videos via Vimeo (Vimeo Inc., USA), interactive product demos via Storylane (Storylane Inc., USA), and the appointment scheduling tool from HubSpot (see section "HubSpot Meetings"). When you access this content, the respective providers may process data and set cookies. Where this content is embedded subject to consent via our cookie banner, processing is carried out on the basis of your consent.
Cloudflare
To protect against automated access and abuse, we use services provided by Cloudflare Inc. (8665 3rd St. #200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). A technically necessary cookie (__cf_bm) is used for the general protection of our website; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in the security of our website.
In addition, we use the Cloudflare Turnstile function in connection with our forms. This primarily serves to distinguish whether an input is made by a natural person or abusively through machine-based and automated processing. The service involves sending the IP address and, where applicable, other data required for Turnstile to Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the basis of our legitimate interest in establishing individual accountability on the internet and preventing abuse and spam.
In the course of using Cloudflare services, personal data may be transferred to Cloudflare's servers in the USA. Further information and Cloudflare's privacy policy can be found at: https://www.cloudflare.com/de-de/gdpr/introduction/
HubSpot Meetings
To arrange and conduct consultation appointments, we use the "Meetings" scheduling tool provided by HubSpot, Inc. (2 Canal Park, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA). In doing so, we process the data you provide in the booking form (see section "Personal Data Processed").
Processing is carried out in order to prepare or perform a contract, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in efficient appointment scheduling.
As we use HubSpot's EU server location, your data largely remains within the EU. For certain functions, however, a transfer to the USA may occur; HubSpot, Inc. is certified for this purpose under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
For more information, please see HubSpot's privacy policy: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy
Retention Period
Personal data of prospective customers with whom no business relationship is established is stored for the duration of a potential interest in initiating business, but for no longer than 36 months after the last contact. The data is then deleted. Where an ongoing business relationship exists, we store the data for its duration and beyond, within the scope of the statutory retention periods, in particular the commercial and tax law periods of up to ten years.
Data Protection Officer
We have appointed an external data protection officer. You can reach them at:
Kivanc Semen (DataCo GmbH): Behoerdenmeldung@dataguard.de
Rights of Users
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we store about you, and to request its rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing. You also have the right to object to the processing and to receive your data in a portable format.
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out up to the point of withdrawal remains unaffected.
To exercise these rights, please contact our data protection officer (see section "Data Protection Officer").
In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data.
